beautifying and enriching community through art

Our
Story
Hello and welcome! My name is Erika Kovalenko; I am a visual artist from Washington state with a passion for beautifying and enriching community through art.
Large scale murals, custom portrait commissions and collaborative community projects are my focus. I strive for meaningful connections and provide my clients a custom-tailored experience from consultation to final product/project.

My visual arts journey was born of a love for creating shared beauty. I am blessed to share the positive impact of art in public and private spaces. During the past 15 years, I have been privileged to work with a large variety of clients on a diverse number of projects ranging from airport mural projects to label designs for Washington's top beer and wine producers/festivals. My experience has produced growth, diversity and excitement within my practice.

Following my BFA graduation at the University of Washington (bachelor of fine arts; emphasis in figure painting/drawing), I began painting large scale portraits in oil and charcoal and followed a natural inclination to work "big" via large scale public artworks. Since that time, my mural experience includes work across the state including murals for the city of Spokane, Moses Lake and Seattle. I believe art is strongest when experienced first-hand and look forward to continuing to creating public works and special projects that engage and inspire.
